The sprouts of Makossa.
When a seed is planted, there is no way to know if it will grow. A person hopes that the seed is good for planting, that the soil is fertile, that there is enough water and sunlight, so that the seed may sprout.
A sprout is a plant's first visible sign of life, the first green leaf is hope, that maybe this plant will mature into a fruit, that this plant may someday feed many.
Black Styl's music sprouted with songs that showed a fruitful future for Makossa. So much of what Makossa grew into is present in their music.
