Welcome to Douala.

Douala is home to me and many others. Douala is also the home of Makossa.

If I were asked to list the things that make Douala a good travel destination, I would struggle to answer. Yet, Douala is a special place. I cannot describe the things that make Douala a special place. Douala is not special because of the things it has, it is special because of the spirit and energy that it carries.

A great place needs a welcome song, a song that invites you to join the community. Every time I listen to this song, I feel welcomed in Douala, not because it is my home but because it is a special place.
